Linas Kleiza had 16 points, while Kenyon Martin filled the stat sheet with 12 points, 10 rebounds, five steals, four assists and three blocks in the win.
New Orleans will resume a three-game homestand Wednesday and opened the residency with a 101-86 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. Peja Stojakovic buried five of his six three-pointers in the fourth quarter to end with 26 points and Chris Paul recorded his fifth triple-double of the season, logging 27 points, 15 assists, 10 rebounds and seven steals for New Orleans, which has won four of five.
James Posey and Rasual Butler scored 13 points apiece for the Hornets, who played without David West (back) and Tyson Chandler (ankle). Both players are out indefinitely.
